Call for papers for CES sessions at the ASSA 2015 conference
The Chinese Economists Society (CES) is organizing three sessions with 4-5 paper presentations apiece at the next meeting of the Allied Social Sciences Association (ASSA), which will be held in Boston,Massachusetts, January 3-5, 2015. We cordially invite current and prospective CES members to submit proposals for individual paper presentations or organized sessions. Papers and organized sessions should be on topics that relate in some way to the Chinese economy and connect to a current issue in the Economics literature. Organized sessions with unifying themes are preferred.
The submission deadline is May 25, 2014. Please e-mail your submission to the 2015 CES/ASSA Program Chair, CES Vice President Dr. Örn Bodvarsson (obbodvarsson@stcloudstate.edu). Acceptance results will be announced by June 30, 2014.
All individual paper submissions should include an abstract of the paper and the CV, or its web link, of the corresponding author.
Proposals for organized sessions should include a title for the session, contact information (including an e-mail address) of the organizer, names, affiliations, and e-mail addresses of the session chair, all authors and discussants, and abstracts of each paper.
Paper presenters must provide their papers to the session chair and discussants no later than December 1, 2014. For each paper presented in the CES sessions, at least one author must be a current CES member. All panel participants must register for the ASSA annual conference.
